RESIGNATION
Any member who wishes to withdraw, retire, resign from membership of the Association, shall be entitled to do so by giving to the Secretary one month's notice in writing to that effect, and paying all subscriptions and other dues, which shall be payable by him, up to date of the expiration of such notice.
EXPULSION
Should the conduct of any member either within or without the Association's premises be
deemed by a majority decision of the Council to be detrimental to the character and interest of the Association, a Special General Meeting shall be convened for this purpose and the member whose expulsion is under consideration shall be allowed to offer an explanation of his conduct either orally or in writing, and if thereupon two-thirds of the members of the Association present and voting shall vote for his expulsion, he shall forthwith cease being a member of the Association.
In the event of such member resigning or being expelled under the provisions of this rule, he shall cease to be a member of the Association, but his subscription for the then current month, as well as any other subscriptions paid in advance for any subsequent period, shall be refunded to him.
ASSOCIATION PREMISES AND DAMAGE TO ASSOCIATION'S PROPERTY
Every member of the Association shall, while on the Association's premises, conduct himself in an orderly manner and obey all orders of the Council of the Association.
Any member maliciously damaging Association property shall be responsible for
reparation. Any member in default of such reparation, shall be subject to discipline by the Council at its discretion.
i Every active member is required to
carry out such maintenance work within the Association, for such number of hours
or value, as prescribed by Council for the ensuing year. Details of such work shall be
placed on the Association's notice board, stating hours or value or both.
ii In default, such member will be required to pay to the Honorary Treasurer, such sum of money as determined by
Council, together with his subscriptions for the following year, otherwise he will not be entitled to participate in the activities of the
Association.
iii Any member who is seventy years of age or over, or any member who Council shall deem exempt, will not be required to carry out such maintenance work.
iv A list of all members eligible, as well asthose exempt, may be placed on the Association's notice board.
v The Council shall make every effort to
provide markers for full-bore rifle shooting and to fix such marker fee as deemed necessary. In the event that markers are not available, every active member is required to mark in the butts when instructed to do so by the Range Officer.
vi In default, such member may be suspended from the Association, by a majority vote of Council, for a period not exceeding ninety days. No refund of subscriptions during this period is permissible.
vii Any member who is seventy years of age or over, or at the discretion of the Range Officer, may be exempt from butts duty, but will be required to carry out such other duties assigned him by the Range Officer, during such shoot.
