AFFILIATED CLUBS COMMITTEE A Committee comprising the Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Club Captain of the Barbados Rifle Association, together with elected delegates from affiliated clubs, shall deal with all matters of shooting, at National and International levels, which are governed by the Rules and Regulations of the International Practical Shooting Confederation, or other National or International Bodies controlling Practical Pistol Shooting, to which the Barbados Rifle Association is affiliated. (Hereinafter referred to as International Organizations.) This Committee shall be named The International Shooting Committee of the Barbados Rifle Association. Each affiliated club shall be entitled to nominate not more than two (2) delegates, drawn from within their club, and they shall have full voting rights. Meetings Meetings of the Committee shall be convened by the Secretary of the Barbados Rifle Association, on the request of the Chairman or two (2) other voting members of the Committee. Any affiliate club may request that a meeting be convened, on the written request of the Secretary of such club, but not more often than once in any one calendar month. Such meeting requested, shall contain the proposed business to be discussed at such meeting. The Secretary of the Barbados Rifle Association shall convene such meeting within twenty-one (21) days from the date of receipt of such request. Not less than seven (7) days notice in writing, shall be given to all members by the Secretary of the Barbados Rifle Association, stating the time, place, and proposed business to be discussed. No other business than that set out on the Agenda for such meeting, shall be discussed at any such meeting. At all meetings, the Chairman of the Barbados Rifle Association shall be Chairman, and in his absence a Chairman shall be elected from among the Officers of the Barbados Rifle Association present. The Chairman at any such meeting shall be entitled to an original as well as a casting vote, the latter of which he may exercise, should there be an equality of votes on any motion. At all meetings, a quorum shall be not less than four (4) members. If after the expiration of forty-rive (45) minutes from the time appointed for such meeting, a quorum not be formed, the meeting shall stand adjourned until that day week, at the same place and the same hour, when not less than three (3) members shall form a quorum. Conduct Of Shooting Any affiliate club desirous of conducting or participating in any competition, at National or International level, under International Organization conditions, must submit such request in writing to the Secretary of the Barbados Rifle Association, setting out the dates, place and events to be competed. A list of the Officials for such shoot must also be included. Such request in writing must reach the Secretary of the Barbados Rifle Association not less than fifteen (15) days prior to such proposed competition. Should such permission in writing be granted to such affiliate club, the Committee shall appoint the Officials to conduct such shoot. |
