Examples of unsafe gun handling are:
i. If at any time during the course of fire, even during a fall or during loading or inloading or during remedial action of a
malfunction, a competitor allows his muzzle to point rearward, that is further than 90 degrees from the median intercept of the backstop.
ii. If any time during the course of fire or while loading or unloading, a competitor drops his handgun or causes it to fall, loaded or not.
iii. Any competitor found to have a loaded handgun, except when specifically so ordered by the Range Officer, will be disqualified and required to leave the Range. Firearms shall be loaded only on the firing line and when so directed by the Range Officer. After shooting no competitor may move from his firing position until so directed by the Range Officer who has supervised the unloading and holstering.
iv. The handling of firearms on the range premises when the competitor is not on the firing line or in the designated safety area, or where prior permission of the Range Officer has not been given.
v. A competitor with a loaded, cocked and holstered selective action/double action with the safety not applied, or a loaded, cocked revolver.
